Big Sisters are Fun

It’s very cute, Big Sister is sitting next to Little Sister and she’s helping her do the baby exercises they are showing on the t.v.
They were sitting next to each other and it’s so cute. They are already friends, as well as sisters.
I’m sure this will change when they become teenagers …
Of Toilets and Men
May 3, 2008 at 11:43 am | In Daddy-O | 1 CommentToday’s Saturday. So far it’s been a quiet day, except for Caity’s incessant screaming. Daddy’s been trying to fix the two toilets that don’t work. We have three. Cutting it down to only one working one (and on the second floor, I might add) makes it interesting.
Something happened to the downstairs bathroom. We think an abundance of baby wipes got flushed and it’s blocking the drain. Alex snaked it but still it won’t clear. To top it off, the handle that you turn to make the water go into the tank is now leaking …
The en-suite toilet never worked properly. Nothing would flush and you couldn’t use toilet paper so that tells you how useful it is.
The funny thing is that the only working toilet we have is on the second floor and it used to be one of the worst. After a week after we moved in, about five years ago, one day we flushed it and the pipes started ’singing’. They made this loud moaning noise like ‘mmmmmmwwwwwwwwaaaaammmm’ and the house would shake. Once we turned off the water outside for the winter it would stop. As soon as we turned it on in the Spring, the pipes would sing again – unless we turned on the bathroom sink. It was really weird. Then one day it just stopped singing and worked properly. Go figure.
Well the upstairs en-suite toilet is now fixed. Apparently a jet hole was blocked or something … I dunno, it’s all confusing, and I have to pee …
