…And Bells on Her Toes

Lexy is 4 3/4 going on 40.  She was at her daycare last week and there was a bit of a conundrum.  One of the other kids, Katie,  misplaced her toy.  Lexy was sitting on the couch “reading” her book.  Terri, the sitter, said she was going to look for the toy.  She lies down in front of the couch that Lexy’s sitting on and looks under the couch for the missing toy. 

Terri says “Katie, I can’t see your toy”.

Lexy looks down at Terri and in all seriousness says “Maybe you have an eye infection” and goes back to her book.

Well, I guess that explains why Terri couldn’t see the toy….
