It’s Wednesday.

Dancing With The Stars is over.  I thought Kristi would win and she did.

American Idol Island is over.  I thought David Cook would win and he did

That used to be my Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Thanks to the writer’s strike, Grey’s Anatomy went on longer into May than usual but now that’s over too.  There goes Thursday.

That leaves Friday.  Gotta love Showcase’s Friday without borders … but I think they’re in reruns too.

Ironically, now I finally have time to watch the Tudors, unfortunately the next season doesn’t start until September 30th.  Ugh that’s when EVERYTHING else starts too.  I’m doomed … Jonathan Rhys Meyers is so unbelievably hot that it’s worth the wait.  Not liking the mustache though.

At least Hockey Season is almost over.  Go Penguins!  Hey Greg!  Oh-lay, Oh-lay, Oh-lay, Oh-lay, woo woo woo!

New Baby = Mood Killer

Yesterday was my Wedding Anniversary.  My sweet boy surprised me at work with a dozen roses.  It was a crazy day at work and it was exactly what I needed.  He still does romantic things, even after all these years.

Since we have two kids and a shortage of babysitters, we stayed home last night.  We ordered Chinese take out, put the kids to bed and started to get comfortable.

And then Caity woke up crying hysterically…

I don’t know if she had a sore throat or what, but since she’s fighting a cold I gave her some drugs and sat with her for a bit until she calmed down.  She was OK as long as I was holding her tight and rocking in the rocking chair.  After about 15 minutes she went back to sleep.

I put her to bed, go back to my room and as usual, the baby’s the mood killer…

*sigh* They’ll be 18 soon, right?
